Match Report | The first league game of the season and a point gained but this was a game Wulfs really should have won. Plenty of chances were created at both ends and with the weather deciding to give us a timely reminder we play a winter sport, the game soon became quite scrappy. Wednesbury had their chances - a man of the match performance from Craig (including a saved penalty flick) is evidence enough! Despite this, Wulfs spent large periods of the game in the Wednebury final third and did everything but get the ball in the the goal. Wulfs were far from at their best in this match but with the adverse conditions and serial complaining to deal with, not giving up and beginning the season with a point is not the end of the world.
