A solid start to the season in this opening friendly versus Finchfield. Lots of younger players to rotate around, balanced with the more experienced core of the team. Great performances from Dan in goal (two cracking saves and excellent effort throughout), James in defence, Jack on the left and Callum controlling the midfield (and getting our one goal). Cob-webs were blown away quickly as the badgers, as enthusiastic as ever, were great throughout the game. A well deserved draw, which is fantastic against such a strong Finchfield side. Dan was named man of the match by his team.
