| Match Report | A Local game against Wolverhampton 2's on the sandy pitch at Aldersley. We started, and ended with only 11 players after Rob Hemmings incorrectly assumed we had a 2pm start time! With a warm day this should of been a 'let the ball do the work' type of game and in summary we did not do too bad, but not good enough to be comfortable either. Wolves went 1-0 up in the 1st Half. Rich Roberts lost half a tooth also from a rising stick which must of sent him doolally as for a spell in the never let go of the ball! (more than usual anyway!) 2nd half was won by Old Wulfs with goals from Adam at the back post during a short corner, and Martin with one in open play. 3 wins out of 3 games! Good preparation for the league starting next week!
Well done all |
