Very much a repeat of last week, A* for effort from the badgers, but the Sutton Lions team were much older, experienced and stronger. Particularly impressive that they had no adults on the pitch. The badgers spent most of the time in their own half, but worked hard in defence. Two soft goals in the first half for Sutton. Outgunned, the badgers conceded another 4 in the second half. Some very brave and resilient performances from some of the badgers though, Thomas, Jack (once he woke up) and Sahib battled hard in midfield. Ben (who was told off by the umpire - yes, Ben!), Jake and James tackled everything they could in defence and Dan had lots of saves which kept the score down. Paul and Rajveer looked good in attack, but with only three notable chances. Thomas was again named man of the match by his team. Great effort from the badgers, who did not give up and should be proud of themselves.
