This was a bit of a hockey lesson from a much more experienced, older, well drilled and skilled Barford Tigers. Our much younger players battled hard, with new players Dan T and Joe showing some good skills and enjoying their league debuts. It was 4-0 by half time, it could have been many more, but for the hard work from Thomas (who covered most players at some stage in the game), Jack and Sahib, together with the defensive line who were kept very busy. The badgers managed a period of 20 minutes without conceding, testament to their resilience. The second half saw the badgers again working their socks off, but 3 great goals went in, the pressure and experience was too much. Dan saved the team from a double digit scoreline. Ben and Paul were busy in attack, but the Barford back line was too strong. An enjoyable game to play in and great attitude shown once again. Thomas was named man of the match, great effort in midfield.
