Match Report | Wulfs coughed and spluttered their way onto the pitch despite a number of continuing illnesses. We may have some put down at the end of the season. Bloxwich were a goal up in the first minute thanks to a catalogue of errors that don't reflect recent defensive form. Wulfs levelled though - a terrific solo effort from Ablard stumbling across the circle to finish on the reverse. The game was disjointed and lacking real quality partly due to inconsistent umpiring leading to real confusion on the pitch. Bloxwich found themselves reduced to 10 men but scored their second goal during this period. Wulfs were never quite out of the game despite continuing to concede goals. This was in no small part down to the consistent form of Matt Griffiths, who added the second Wulfs goal before Birch's penalty corner finish. Ashworth received a green card for finally losing it with the umpires, but one green card only for the team has to be seen as a noble effort of restraint. There are three games remaining, all against lower league opposition. Survival is an option.
