Match Report | A point gained or two points dropped? Well, both. It was a good old game of two halves with Wulfs dominant in the first. Bromsgrove looked shell-shocked as if they had been expecting an easy win. Fat chance of that. Wulfs made several chances with some neat interplay and broke the deadlock when Birch picked up a rebound and with the keeper helpless on the floor reverse-chipped into the net. Chris Tibble stepped into the side and cause more trouble for Bromsgrove, but the first half ended 0-1. Bromsgrove came out with more purpose in the second period but Wulfs doubled the lead from a Mark Wilson penalty corner. After that the home side pressed hard with 5 in attack, and eventually struck from a deflected penalty corner. The equaliser came when a Bromsgrove attacker pounced on a loose ball and reversed powerfully in off the keeper's helmet. Man of the match: Rich Roberts. Next week bring on Wolverhampton.... |
