Match Report |
We turned up to face top of the table Bromsgrove on the back of five straight wins. They were clearly worried as they had a squad of 17 to pick from, they selected their final sixteen, after much scribbling I inspected the team sheet, one of thier best players no number, not at all suspicious. Anyway we put in a great performance , in the first half Simon Evans had a couple of good chances, & luke made some nice saves.
In the second half we set up in a more attacking formation, haydn finishing nicely from a bladed cross from Adam. Haydn then earnt himself the nickname Bambi as rather than scoring the open goal, he fell to the ground as if he'd been tazered. Other chances came and went at both ends but we held on for a deserved 1 - 0 win. Our first actual cleen sheet of the season, and deep irony ,Bromsgrove thought luke was a ringer, which shows how well he played. |
