| Match Report | What a fantastic finish to the season, a great game of hockey in the sunshine and a great result which was well deserved and hard won by our badgers. Ben, Callum and James in attack, supported by Jack, Sam and George, dominated possession and created chance after chance with solid passing - good team hockey. Andy, Chris and Billy covered well in defence and the midfield work worked hard to cover back when K'ford broke with some strong midfield players. Ben scored our first goal with a well positioned slap, and Callum got our second taking the opportunity when it came. James came close to opening his account, with the ball rolling an inch away from the line. Well done everyone, a very proud captain! Callum was voted man of the match by his team. Bring on next season!! Don't forget, junior indoor matches start this Saturday (11 April) at 11 at WGS. |
