A team that is growing and improving in the second half of the season put up a fantastic fight against a high quality and well drilled West Brom. After some late cancellations we only travelled with ten, but we were able to nab a West Brom player who did a great job for us. Considering the difference in experience and that we had no players who play at a higher level, this was an awesome performance. A 7 goal improvement since last playing them, holding West Brom to a 4-1 loss. Dan had another good game in goal, but it was always going to be difficult to defend the two goals that came from well rehearsed and professional short corners. Ben, Callum and Sahib had some chances on the break up front, but were unable to convert; our goal came from a break from midlfield and a sideways ball in which was knocked home by a loaned player. Tom and James performed excellently on the right and Callum held the ball up in the centre to give us time when we did break. Rajveer did his job, marking one of their attackers out of the game - overall the badgers disrupted very well. A hard fought match, but an amazing result. Tom and James were voted man of the match by their team for work-rate and fearless tackling.
