A well earned result and fantastic to get a draw. Again the badgers worked hard and enjoyed their hockey throughout. There was some good possession in midlfield with passing between Callum, Jack and Thomas and fearless defending to absorb the experienced Bournville attacking midfield. We sorted out one problem, which was solid defence and a much more focussed and confident game from Dan in goal - this earned him man of the match as he defended 2 direct attacks on his goal and covered many many more, together with at least 3 defensive shorts. Our second problem is scoring. More work is needed here to think more when in attack, to play around the adult back lines rather than trying to go through them. We had a few chances, but didn't have the killer finish we needed. Overall though, what a fantastic result (and would have taken this before the game), but can't help thinking this was ours to take! Also a big thank-you to Rajveer, James and Harry who played for Bournville who were short of players - unfortunately they did a very good job for them!
