The score and result did not fully reflect a well matched game and a fantastic effort from the Badgers. Edgbaston had an average age much higher than our own, but the Badgers, unfazed, battled from start to finish, putting in some epic midfield effort (Thomas, Bhav, Kai, Sam and Seb) and some awesome defending from Ben and Jack. Dan saved a number of attacks on goal, but the defence was undone on the break a few times. Equal at 2 each, then up to 3-4 (including 2 goals from Callum), a win seemed within reach, but 2 late goals from Edgbaston concluded the slightly flattering result. A debut for Josh, and Ben was named man of the match by the team for his fearless defending.
